# Connecting a Wallet

Ferro Protocol is a Decentralized Application. In order to interact with the platform, users will need a non-custodial Crypto Wallet and connect it to the platform. With a Crypto Wallet, you will be able to hold and retrieve your assets, as well as perform transactions after giving confirmation on your wallet for security purposes. Currently, Ferro supports the following wallets in both web and mobile browsers:

* [Crypto.com DeFi Wallet](https://help.crypto.com/en/collections/2221157-crypto-com-defi-wallet)
* [Metamask](https://cronos.org/docs/getting-started/metamask.html)

We will continue to look out for enhancement opportunities and embrace more wallets when possible. If you have any feedback, do reach out to us on our [Discord](https://discord.gg/NstFnJuK) or [Telegram](https://t.me/ferroprotocol) servers!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.ferroprotocol.com/getting-started/connecting-a-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
